Grid field context

Custom field configuration schemes help you to configure multiple grid configurations.

You can add separate contexts for different issue types and projects.The custom field context is also known as custom field configuration scheme. 

Adding a new context allows you to configure one grid custom field differently for multiple combinations of issue types and projects.

A custom field can only have one context per Jira project. So you cannot have multiple contexts for different issue types in the same project.
