Number + Currency Formatting
This article describes how to set Number and Currency Formatting when you use Number column.
Select Enable Number Formatting to set format.
Currency Formatting
Set currency format with over 160 currencies.
Select Custom Currencies Format
Select a currency and click Apply.
Click Add button to add column.
Add row and type the number to the number field. Click out of the field or press Enter on your keyboard.
Result: The typing number has currency format.
Number Formatting
Select Custom Number Format
Select or custom a number format or and click Apply.
You can custom the number format by using common syntax characters.
Custom Number Format: Here is a list of common syntax characters that can be used to create a custom number format:
Format | Definition |

0 | A digit in the number. An insignificant 0 will appear in the results. |
# | A digit in the number. An insignificant 0 will not appear in the results. |
.(period) | Formats numbers with a decimal separator. |
,(comma) | Formats numbers with a thousands separator. |
"text" | Adds text to the formula. Insert the desired text within quotations for it to appear. |
% | Formats numbers as a percent |
E | Formats numbers as an exponent. |
; | Separates positive and negative sub patterns |
@ | 1@ = 1 input |
Click Add button to add column.
Add row and type the number to the number field. Click out of the field or press Enter on your keyboard.
Result: The typing number has corresponding format (percent format in this case).
