Single Select List and Multi Select List static options disappear when I import my configuration

Sometimes, static options of your Single Select List and Multi Select List columns could disappear after you upload your configuration.

Cause

This problem generally happens after you upload an earlier version configuration, for example, from TGNG 1.10 to TGNG 1.11.

Solution

To resolve this we recommend downgrading your current version of TGNG and uploading your config to an older version. Then, you can update your version of TGNG. TGNG has an internal upgrade mechanism, which will help to resolve configuration issues.

Follow these steps to downgrade your application:

Uninstall the current version of TGNG

1. Navigate to  ⚙️ → Administration → Add-ons → Manage apps.

2. Select Table Grid Next Generation.

3. Press Uninstall.

Download an earlier version of TGNG

1. Go to https://marketplace.atlassian.com/.

2. Search for Table Grid Next Generation.

3. Go to the Versions tab.
   
   

   Open

   

4. Select See all versions.

5. Select Download.
   
   

   Open

   

You will download a .jar file, that you can upload manually.

Upload an older version of TGNG

1. Navigate to ⚙️ → Administration → Add-ons → Manage apps.

2. Select Upload app.
   
   

3. Upload a file by either of these methods:
   
   

   • Select Browse to upload a file from your computer.

   • Paste a link into the From this URL.

   
   
   

4. Press Upload.

Upload your config

1. Navigate to ⚙️ → Administration → Add-ons.

2. Select Grids in the TABLE GRID section.
   
   

3. Add a new grid or edit an existing grid:
   
   

   • Select Add grid to add a new grid.

   • Select  Edit to edit an existing grid.

   
   
   

4. Press Upload config.
   
   

5. Upload a .json file.

Upgrade TGNG to a later version

1. Navigate to ⚙️ → Administration → Add-ons → Manage apps.

2. Press Update.
