How to pre-populate a grid with data
This guide shows how to add static data into a grid in the Table Grid Editor for Jira Cloud.
Prerequisites: configured grid and columns.
Note
Static data display on every issue.
In order to pre-fill grid with some information you should do the following steps:
Go to the grid configuration page
Add default grid data in the Grid default value block
Save grid configuration
Now all issues will display the grid with pre-populated data. This is how it looks:
Grid default data is not indexed for JQL search until you re-save grid from the issue view.
Congratulations! You have managed to add default grid values. New issues will display the grid with pre-populated data.
