Overview

Visionade is a powerful reporting and dashboarding solution for Jira Cloud that enables users to extract, configure, and visualize data efficiently. Below are the key features of Visionade:

1. Data Source Integration

Only available for Jira Administrators.

Connect Internal and External Data Sources

Jira Admins can integrate data sources from Jira and Table Grid of the current Jira instance and many upcoming data sources in the future into Visionade, allowing for seamless data extraction and reporting.

Select Dimensions in Data Source

All fields from a data source can be selected as Dimensions for reporting. You can decide which Dimensions will be included in a Data Set, making it easier to group, filter, and analyze information. This ensures that reports are built on the most relevant fields for flexible and meaningful insights.

Index/Reindex Dimensions

You can index Dimensions to fetch data from the fields you selected in your data source. This indexing process prepares the data so it can be quickly used in Data Sets and Reports.

When new fields are added or existing ones are updated, you can reindex to refresh the data and keep everything in sync. By indexing and reindexing, you ensure your Data Set always contains accurate and up-to-date information for reporting.

2. Data Set Configuration

Only available for Jira Administrators to configure data set.

A Data Set defines the source and structure of your data in Visionade. You can build a Data Set from Jira fields, from a Table Grid, or even map both sources together. To keep data relevant, you can apply JQL filters and preview the raw data in a table view. Once created, a Data Set can be reused across multiple reports and dashboards, ensuring consistency and saving setup time.

3. Advanced Report Management

Users can create reports based on the raw data of a chosen Data Set, adjusting rows, columns, and values as needed. They can apply filters and select from various visualization options, including Table, Column, Bar, Pie, and Line charts. Reports are fully customizable to highlight important metrics and trends, enabling informed, data-driven decisions.
