Sort and Filter data in the Data Set Preview

This page explains the Sort and Filter features, which allow Visionade users to sort and filter data in the Data Set Preview.

Access to Reports tab and open an existing report or create a new one. Select a Data Set in the Data Set Configuration section to view the Data Set Preview table.

Currently, sorting and filtering are supported only for Jira dimensions (custom dimensions and Table Grid dimensions are not supported).

1. Sort Data

  • Click the Sort image-20251230-105259.png button on a column header to sort data in ascending order (A-Z)

  • Click the button again to sort data in descending order (Z–A).

  • Click once more to clear the sort.

Result: The data in the selected column is sorted according to the chosen order.

2. Filter data

  • Click the Filter image-20251230-105428.png button on a column header to open Filter by condition modal

  • Select a filter condition and enter a value if required. Then, click “Apply” button to apply the filter

Result: Only data that matches the selected filter condition is displayed in the table.

To remove the filter and return to the original data, click “Clear filter”.
