Configure Data Set

Only available for Jira Administrators.

To configure a data set, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Data Sets tab, click on “Create Data Set”

  1. Set Name and select one Data Source

Data set name must be unique

  1. Select Dimensions based on the selected data source and dimensions that you selected in Data Source configuration.

  2. Type JQL query and press Enter or click image-20251230-093615.png / image-20251230-093800.png button to narrow down data from the data source and preview a data set in the Data Preview table below.

If you leave JQL query blank, it will query data with the following query:

project is not empty

And Data Preview table only shows maximum of 10 data rows

Tips:

  • The system will suggest and automatically completes the JQL query based on your input.

  • You can click the collapse/expand button to collapse or expand the Query input field.

  1. Click “Save” to save your data set
