Sales Performance Analysis by Category and Branch using Visionade and Table Grid

This document describes how to use Visionade and Table Grid to perform a sales performance analysis based on product categories and store branches. The purpose is to generate insights into sales trends, identify high-performing branches, and support strategic decision-making.

Introduction

The Sales Manager wants to leverage Visionade and Table Grid to analyze the sales performance of different product categories across various store branches. Using Visionade's multi-grid data mapping and Table Grid's structured data management, combined with pivot table functionalities, this report helps identify best-selling categories in each branch and make data-driven decisions.

Sales Performance will be managed on Issue Screen and displayed in grids like this:

Prerequisites

Before generating the report, ensure the following conditions are met:

  • Visionade platform is accessible with reporting and dashboarding capabilities enabled.

  • Table Grid is set up to store and structure sales transaction data.

  • Product and category mappings are correctly established between grid Products and grid Categories.

  • Users have the necessary permissions to configure data sources and reports in Visionade.

Post-condition

  • The sales performance report is successfully generated in Visionade and displayed on the Jira Dashboard.

  • The user can view and analyze sales trends based on product categories and store branches.

  • Connected data source (Table Grid) is saved in Data Sources list.

  • Configured report is saved in Reports list.

  1. Products → Categories: Category ID in Products maps to Category ID in Categories

  2. Products → Sales Transactions: Product ID in Products maps to Product ID in Sales Transactions

Issue Scope By: You can select to filter issues by Projects or Custom JQL

  • Projects: Select projects that you want to take grid data from their issues

  • Custom JQL: Type JQL to filter issues that you want to take grid data
