Select All Projects and Automatically Map to New Issue Types

This article describes how to select all projects and automatically map a grid to new issue types created in those projects.

 

  1. In the Grid configuration, open the Projects dropdown and select “All projects and issue types/request types” option.

All available projects will be automatically selected, along with their associated issue types (and request types, if applicable).

  1. Configure automatic mapping by:

  • Enabling automatic mapping for all new issue types in specific projects by tick the corresponding checkbox.

  • Click “Mark all projects as automatic mapping” for automatic mapping to all new issue types in all configured projects.

  1. Result

  • Any new issue types created after this grid is configured will be automatically added to the grid configuration.

  • As a result, when you create a new issue with the newly created issue type, the grid will be automatically enabled on that issue.
