You can pre-populate the grid with static data. This article provides details on how to add default data to the grid.

You can add default values to the grid using one of the following ways: 

Using grid configuration page

  1. Select Add-ons in your Jira Settings
  2. Locate Table Grid admin menu
  3. Navigate to the Grids tab
  4. Select desired grid to edit 
  5. Add Grid default value in the corresponding section

Using Grid Custom Field configuration 

  1. Select Issues in your Jira settings

  2. Click Custom Fields in the Fields section

  3. Find the grid custom field and Configure.
  4. Select Edit Default Value in the Default Configuration Scheme section

  5. Enter default values and click Set Default
